Ducted evaporative service FAQs
We clean inside the machine and the cabinet, flush the unit, wash the pads, lubricate the moving parts, set the water levels, check the pump and water distribution, adjust the bleed rate, and clean the reservoir. We test the electrical components and controls, check the body, flashing and dropper for corrosion, and test run the unit before we leave.
We recommend a service each year, ideally before summer, so the pads, pump and water system are clean and working well when you need the cooling most. Regular servicing helps the unit run efficiently and last longer.
Evaporative services are usually booked within 5 to 7 days. Demand climbs quickly before and during summer, so it is worth booking early in the season.
If there is a fault we attend on a diagnosis call-out of $200, which includes the first 15 minutes on site, then $60 per 15 minutes (or part thereof) after that. If a repair is needed we quote it separately and only proceed once you approve. Common repairs include pump, motor, belt and pad replacements.
Yes. Service repairs carry a 3-month labour warranty, replacement electrical parts a 3-month warranty, and water part replacements a 12-month warranty. Filter pads are not covered. Warranty applies to defective parts, not damage from other causes.
